Marc My Words--Hayleigh Hayhurst: Owner and Founder of Espresso Podcast Production

This week's episode finds Marc having a discussion with Hayleigh Hayhurst about what it takes to start a podcast and how to maintain it. Hayleigh also tells the story of how she used her technical background and entrepreneurial passion to start her own business. Jake Doherty might have grown up in Louisiana, but you wouldn't know it from how much living in Europe has impacted his life. After majoring in European History and entering the working world a passion for theater in addition to his fascination with Europe, Jake was at a crossroads. While becoming a bartender sounded appealing, Jake knew he wanted to reach for something bigger. After serving in the military over in Europe, Jake soon discovered the beauty of his surroundings and decided to call Europe home. This lead to him starting touring agencies geared towards Garmisch, Bavaria, etc. Once the pandemic hit in 2020, Jake and his team also added a Live interactive cooking business to his resume. Marc and Jake talked about the transition to living in Europe and the impact this has had on him professionally and personally.

From a young age Eva Payne found a passion by starting a nonprofit geared towards helping kids with HIV/AIDS. While running this organization, Eva kept listening to her intuition and stayed in touch with her thoughts on human nature and everybody's individual essence. It was this type of awareness and thought to herself and others that prompted Eva to search even deeper within.  Eva decided to take a break from it all and search within herself for more answers. From there, the concepts for her book called The Flow Life Funnel started to pour out of her mind and onto the computer screen. Today she is not only coaching on these concepts, but also happy to speak about them and build upon the concepts she has proven to work and help others.

Ryan R. Sullivan is an entrepreneur who wears many different hats. Ryan studied Business and attempted to work a few 9-5 jobs as an Account Executive, but ultimately his path lead him to pursue his passions. A DJ, Rapper, Podcast Host, and the owner of his podcast startup business called Podcast Principles, Ryan R. Sullivan is never bored. In this episode, Ryan and Marc have a great conversation about the impact Linkedin has had on their lives. They also talk about time management and what it takes to fit all of their priorities into their lives without falling behind. Ryan also discusses what inspired him to take a more entrepreneurial path. He has a great story about why he started Podcast Principles and what he learned from his experience as technical podcast freelancer. Ryan is a great example of the potential a younger entrepreneur has in the 21st Century.

Deidra Kindred didn't always want to be a nurse, but the universe kept pulling her in that direction. In a career path that sees many people drop out before they graduate, Deidra has not only made as the 1/3rd of nursing students who graduate from nursing school, she has excelled at her craft. Although Deidra had developed a passion for her career, the idea of entrepreneurship was always in the back of her mind thanks to the influence her entrepreneurial minded mother. In order to make the type of impact she wanted to make, Deidra opened a nursing liaison company that would give her the opportunity to provide a level of care that would go beyond what she was doing in the hospital. Deidra and Marc go into detail about starting such a unique venture and the impact it has had on her life and career.

As a speaker, coach, comedian, and podcast host, Andy has found his voice and is "Owning His Awkward" while teaching others to do the same. In this episode, Andy and Marc share a few stories and some laughs while also finding common ground being a little different, embracing that, and sharing it with the rest of the world.

If there is one thing Marc learned about Hannah Shanahan it's that she is very passionate about the entrepreneurial world and is fiercely independent in building her fashion business. Hannah told the story of what inspired her to transition out of the hospitality business, travel the world, and build her own retail fashion line. Internship after internship around the world lead Hannah to learn many of the things she now knows about how to run her own business. Although mentorship is important, in Hannah's mind, carving your own path and creating your own voice and product is what drives her to succeed more than anything else. This is truly an inspirational episode for those who are hesitant to step out on their own or for those who are already independent, but need an extra bit of inspiration from somebody who has made their way alone.

Roman Mironov will surprise you with his effortless charisma and ability to teach you lessons about relationships so effortlessly. Roman talked to Marc about how the downfall of his first marriage lead him to move away from his home in Russia to Toronto. Although he was already an entrepreneur, Roman decided to take a different path once he started his new journey in Canada. Thanks to the mentorship of the Tony Robbins School of Coaching (Robbins Madanes to be exact), Roman was able to distance himself from his translator business and start his own relationship coaching business. Not only does he teach people how to keep their relationships from failing, he also teaches how to train your mind to move on from habits that can be very destructive to intimate relationships.

In this episode Marc talks about the positive experience he has had while using the Clubhouse app in 2021. Although Marc isn't currently running any rooms, he has gotten a lot of value just by showing up to rooms where the conversation revolves around topics such as podcasting, tips and tricks on posting on social media, and how to raise your presence and performance on Linkedin. Marc has been able to speak publicly and meet great new people in real time that have had a huge impact on him in 2021.
